Architects / Engineers (A/E) Selection General Information

The Department of A/E Selection, Negotiations & Design Management is responsible for the management of the selection and negotiation process to hire design and construction
professionals for the District's Capital Outlay Work Plan. This department develops solicitations, Requests for Qualifications (RFQ) and/or Requests for Proposals (RFP)
for each service required. Each type of selection process includes proposal reviews, evaluations, interviews, negotiations, commissioning recommendations and execution
of contracts for each professional service.
Design-Build Bidding and Construction Management at-risk GMP awards are managed through the M-DCPS Office of Capital Improvement Projects department.
